This is the Devil's cooking pot Hell (Jigoku). It has a bright blue and blood red boiling lakes. It was a bit more hectic and touristy than the other Hells, but good for kids maybe. Interactive parts where you can drink the water, smell the steam and buy steamed eggs and corn to eat.

For ¥200 you get to see the hot spring fuming with heavy steam, foot bath and taste eggs boiled with the natural steam water. A guide shows the crowd around the different steamy hot springs. A small garden with cats painted on stones added some amusement to the garden itself.

I love the blue color of the hot spring. Entrance fee is ¥400. You can also see mud spring inside. There's a space for drinking and eating cooked eggs inside. Not too crowded when I was there. Perfect to shoot photos.

Pretty interesting jigoku with plenty of different looking pools/ponds as well as vendors selling things like onsen boiled eggs and steamed pork or pizza buns. Worth trying at least one of the available dishes!

this place was really cool! we didn't actually go to any of the hot springs and enjoy them, but it was really cool to see all the different pools of varying temperature water, and especially cool to see the red pools. the workers will also do tricks with the steam, which is cool.

One of the landmark in Beppu. A must to visit, but do not expect so high. One of the recommended activity at Kamada Beppu is to taste the boiled egg and rest your feet in the feet onsen. The entrance fee is 400 yen per person.

Compare to the famous Ocean Hell, i prefer this Kamado Hell. It is more to locals and not so commercial. There is tour guide to give explaination and demo. There is also alot activities to try out such as foot bath, face steam, foot oven, hotspring water tasting and more. The hotspring egg here is also selling cheaper and u can give it a try. Actually, there is a muddy, blue and red hotspring pool here if u dont feel like going to other Beppu hells. Highly recommended.

Sort of small osen among others, but full of fun here. You can experience face osen, hands osen and legs osen here with plenty of osen food!

If you go only to one of these, it's probably the best one. Lots of smaller attractions especially for kids. Signs are in Japanese, Chinese, English and Korean. Some interesting foods to eatalso. The black pepper ice cream was better than it sounds.

For the first time seeing hot springs in the way their system works with their heating of the water it was not too bad you got to soak your feet and be careful the water's hot

Funny that we could have joy in hell rather than pure agony. In fact, it’s the most fun amongst 6 others. Hell no, we didn’t miss the popular boiled eggs, pore-cleansing hot steam, and remedial foot onsen.

The jigoku literally means underground ogres so the whole place had a bit of a scary pictures nearby but rest assured it was just a myth and i had a really pleasant time with my wifeThe tour guides were really awesome and funny and if you go you must try the soda with the eggs as the last course before leaving!
